There were two different projects created in this blog. The first was using a book and I had to try and make it look like anything else but a book. I decided to use the folding technique. I used this technique and opened the book down the middle and did a mirror image on the front and back. In the second project we had to do the total opposite. We started with foam board and had to build something that was 12X12X12 and you had to be able to see through it. I like doing both of these projects actually. But the one i perfered to do more than the other was the foam board. It was easier to do in my opinion. I like constructing things better than just folding pieces of paper and not knowing what i was going to end up with.

Anything but a book and foam core projects

The outcome of both projects was successful in terms of transforming the mass, shape and structure of a book and flat foam board into 3D compositions.
ReplyDeleteI believe your approach to the foam board serial planes construction, that as you mentioned you have enjoyed more, was more creative, and the outcome more unique and aesthetically appealing.
Research images and sketches are missing. Also in the reaction paper is expected you discuss further about your concepts and aesthetical approach in solving the problem presented.
Brief but clear documentation of processes, however for next posting, divide the sequence of each phase in order to make clearer the narrative to the viewer.
